Falling Leaves Lodge - San Ignacio

The peaceful location up the hill provided a great escape from city noise, and the pool was fantastic-clean and spacious. The restaurant offered excellent food, including fresh sandwiches that were both satisfying and tasty. The steep walk to town might be challenging for some, and the room lacked soundproofing were good.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay. The bedroom was impressive and beautiful. The staff was friendly with advice and suggestions. The location was perfect and stunning - easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The restaurant was great with excellent meals. We did not want to leave there, recommend.

i have stayed in the double room with multi-channel television, ironing facilities, and a study table. guests have all their needs satisfied by the very welcoming and nice staff.

Staying here while visiting the nearby Cahal Pech Ruins was a wonderful experience. The beautiful grounds made for a very relaxing environment, and the meals at the restaurant were consistently delicious, especially the breakfast burrito. I appreciated the attentive service from Paula and the rest of the staff, who went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. The short, steep walk into town did provide a nice little workout, but taking a cab back was always a reasonable option.

The staff was very attentive, doing great job. There were a refrigerator, coffee and tea making facilities, and a writing desk in the room, appreciated that.

Request room on higher floors for better views and to avoid noise from the reception and dining area.

The larger cabanas looked quite appealing.

We found ourselves as the only guests, with a mediocre room initially offered that faced the restaurant vents. Breakfast was a debacle, as the restaurant was unexpectedly closed, forcing us to rush to the nearby village before our excursion, disappointing. The evening atmosphere in the bar and restaurant was quite dull, lacking the vibrancy of neighboring places.

Family with children will love this place

It added a personal touch we really appreciated. And the food at the restaurant was something else. We had dinner there two nights in a row because we couldn't get enough of those flavors, especially the whole fried fish.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but the quality made it acceptable.

Clean room, excellent restaurant, with a beautiful view of the town and a lovely pool area that enhanced our stay while allowing us to explore the nearby Maya ruins conveniently.

Falling leaves lodge is a charming spot right next to the mayan ruins. The staff, especially christiana, provide really good hospitality. The on-site restaurant, obsidian, served delicious meals at great prices.

The newly installed pool was a pleasant surprise, and the surrounding views was like a slice of paradise. Paula's really good service helped organize our tours seamlessly.

It was just a nice choice for strolling around in San Ignacio with good value for money. The staff went out of their way to help with local arrangements, making my stay feel personal and cute. Bring some bug spray to fend off the critters in the area!
